Protecting Keystone Species: Whale Sharks and Beyond | National Geographic

Paid content for @Prada. Whale sharks—the largest fish in the ocean—are a vulnerable species, yet these gentle giants don't feed on anything bigger than your index finger. The only way to protect them is to understand them. That’s why Prada Group has been working with UNESCO-IOC since 2019 to educate students and inspire the next generation of ocean stewards to preserve marine ecosystems through the SEA BEYOND project. 1% of the proceeds from the Prada Re-Nylon for SEA BEYOND Collection benefit SEA BEYOND. Join actress Sadie Sink and SEA BEYOND Goodwill Ambassador Giovanni Chimienti as they explore the vital role whale sharks play in underwater ecosystems. https://on.natgeo.com/4gQ0zqG Explore the World with National Geographic subscriptions: http://natgeo.com/ytngmagazine ➡ Subscribe: http://bit.ly/NatGeoSubscribe And check out more National Geographic series and specials here: ➡ Disney Plus: https://on.natgeo.com/3q6on5p ➡ Hulu: https://on.natgeo.com/3Qor0Ko ➡ NGTV app: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/tv/ ➡ ABC app: https://abc.com/ #NationalGeographic #PaidContent About National Geographic: National Geographic is the world's premium destination for science, exploration, and adventure.
